Jerry Friedman on Elder Connections
Jerry Friedman, award-winning photographer, author, speaker and founder of Earth's Elders Foundation, has spent the past four years on a landmark project to introduce the world to the sixty oldest people on earth. Through his globetrotting journey to document their lives, Friedman has become a leading expert on supercentenarians, those who have lived 110 years or more. No one else in history has ever met so many of the oldest people on earth.
The Earth’s Elders was recognized with a month-long show at the United Nations, the capital rotunda in Washington and in Tokyo. The foundation’s current goal is to help make one million connections between our oldest and youngest citizens.
