Donovan McNabb on Physical Inactivity
A first round draft pick in 1999 by the Philadelphia Eagles, and the second player overall, Donovan McNabb has raised the bar with super-star accomplishments on and off the playing field.
At only thirty-three years old, he has established himself as one of the finest players in franchise history. He holds the franchise records for pass attempts, completions, passing yards, and touchdown passes. Donovan has already piloted the club to more wins (eighty-two), postseason games (twelve) and postseason victories (seven) than any other quarterback in team history.
During his career, Donovan has quarterbacked the Eagles to the post-season seven times, won the NFC East Division five times, played in four consecutive NFC Championship Games, and led the team to their first Super Bowl berth in twenty-four years.
But, some of his proudest gains can be found off the field. A great personality combined with a sense of humor and extraordinary work ethic has spilled into his community efforts through the Donovan McNabb Foundation (DMF). His primary focus is on diabetes awareness and prevention.
